I don’t have a background in beauty or art, I actually worked in IT for a Bank for 10 years! When my role ended, I decided to turn a hobby into a lifestyle! I just felt ready to do something by myself, for myself! Life is short, so why not!

I love interiors, fashion and jewellery and I have a talent for putting colours together. I bring all of these influences into my work and I love being creative. Before opening Amelia M, I trained for a full year completing Accredited courses in basic and Russian manicure, gel application, e-file for hands and feet and BIAB application. Amelia M nails are artistic and special - the sort of style I wish was available when I needed my nails done. I’m hoping others feel the same!

Outside of nails, my entire personality is being a dog mum to my Frenchie Mila and English Bulldog Alba. I live quietly - I love a good TV drama, iconic 80s music and I’m a fair-weather walker. I’m powered by baby tea, macaroni cheese and a crazy amount of garlic bread! Now that is living!
